In maths this year we have covered many subjects. I have learnt many things and have added them to my memory bank. This Semester I am in group 1 with Ms Nunez. We have been working on how to multiply,add ,subtract,and divide fractions and decimals, we also have been learning all about fractions and what types of fractionsthere are, I am very confident at these subjects . Right now we are learning how to change fractions into decimals and percentages. We are also paticipating in the 2010 Junior Maths Challenge. There are 6 stages in this containing problem solving questions. This is particually difficult since that it aimed at year 7 & 8 students. Everday we do a challenge known as 'Minute maths' Where you need to use the four operations or see how many halves and quarters you can fit into whole numbers. I have steadily increased at the speed, always one of the first ones to finish.
